Once apon a time in the internet

Welcome to the return of "Preserving Place," the Nation's (former) leading blog about the hot-topics in Historic Preservation. The old "Preserving Place" was a good start, but never got going where it needed to go. However, PP is back, new and improved (slightly), and promises to be a site worth checking into for some news/stories, comments/discussion, and whatever else comes up in the business of preserving the built environment.

Send me a tip or story you'd like to see discussed at preservingplace@gmail.com

Here are some buzzwords to get the HP brainwaves going: Adaptive Reuse, Smart Design, Demolition by Neglect, Tax Credits, Preservation, Rehabilitation, Restoration, Reconstruction, NHPA, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Preservation Action, National Register of Historic Places, Heritage Preservation, Cultural Landscapes...

OK, those were actually just keywords for "teh googles" to get you here.
Thanks for visiting!
